if you mean to put in leveling in the game i can't disagree more. You have a kind of "skill-tree" where you get more moves and you also unlock "different ninjas" which has different specials. and if you dont depend on him its just 2 ninjas running around on a single player level which is stupidĬould also do a arena mode but again, either you see each other the whole time and it doesn't work because of that or you don't see each other at all and it doesn't work because of that.Īnd a difficulty setting is present, kind of, when you complete the game and play it in NG+ you get a harder difficulty, i think an easier difficulty isn't needed.Īnd what do you mean with "a rpg like character setup with different kinds of ninja"?

the mechanics in this game are built on a single player experience.Īnd local coop, i could see that working but its not something i would play, the whole thing with planning out your moves and progress through the level in multiple ways would fall apart if you have to depend on a second player. Running around in online multiplayer messing with people and guards just doesnt sound fun to me, it would just be 2 hidden ninjas running around doing their ting with no possible way of coop since you can't see each other. this leaves 2 other options, online multiplayer or local coop. some games are just better without can only mess with people because they can't see you in the dark and if its a local multiplayer (which is the first thing that comes to mind since this is a console port) you can see each other all the time. These are all terrible ideas, i love how people nowadays would like to shoehorn in a multiplayer feature into every game avaliable.
